Conference Registration

Conference registration fees include:

• CD copy of the LCN Proceedings (Main conference and all workshops)
• Admission to all eight workshops
• Admission to all LCN keynote and technical sessions
• Coffee breaks on 4-7 October
• The conference dinner
• Buffet lunches on all days, including workshops

All workshop and main conference authors must register for the conference.

Registration on or before 2 September 2011 will be granted the lower pre-registration rates; registration after 2 September 2011 will be at the higher late registration rates.

Registration may be done online using the IEEE online conference registration Web site. Alternatively, download the LCN 2011 Conference Registration form, and mail, fax, or e-mail to the IEEE.

Registration Fee Schedule

CANCELLATION POLICY: All requests for cancellations must be in writing. No refund will be made after 2 September 2011. There will be a US$200.00 service charge on all refunds.

INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS: Paper authors (main conference and workshops) will be asked to register by July 28, 2010 (i.e., before their paper goes to the publisher) or their paper will not be included in the program/proceedings. Each registration is good for one paper; each additional paper by the same registrant will require an additional $200 to cover the cost for EDAS and publishing. The maximum number of papers that can be covered with one registration is three.

The IEEE reserves the right to exclude paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference.

Hotel Registration

The LCN 2011 conference hotel is the Hilton Hotel, Bonn.

Hotel Room Rates

• All rates include the actual legal Value Added Tax (VAT).
• The rate covers sleeping room cost and breakfast, including service fees.
• The group rate will be offered for the period from Sep 29 up to Oct 09 2011, subject to availability of rooms at the time of reservation.

• For the nights of October 4, 5, and 6 to the following day, a room block for the group rate is held. Cut-off date for the block reservation is 8 August 2011 at 5:00 pm Central European Time (CET). Reservations received after this date will still be accepted at the group rate, however on a space-available basis. Reservations for this block can be made online.

• For an extended stay between Sep 29 and Oct 09 reservations at the group rate can be made with the LCN 2011 Hotel Reservation form to be faxed to Hilton Bonn. No block is held for this period, and rooms will fill up quickly because of a public holiday weekend.

Please be advised that Monday October 3 is a public holiday in Germany (Day of German Unity) and during the long weekend of October 1 to October 3 the City of Bonn celebrates the Day of German Unity and North Rhine - Westphalia Day. More information is available online here. The City of Bonn expects several thousands of visitors during the long weekend, coming from all over Germany and European neighbor countries.

Thus, hotel rooms maybe filled quickly over the first October weekend - please make your travel plans early if you wish to extend your LCN 2011 stay by the preceding weekend.
