Information for Presenters of Regular and Short Papers

Information for Presenters of Regular Papers

Regular papers will be presented orally at the conference. Each oral presentation session consists of either 3 or 4 papers. Each paper is allocated 25 minutes which consists of 2 minutes for setting up the presentation, 20 minutes for formal presentation and 3 minutes for questions.

Presenters of regular papers should also:

  1. Indicate in EDAS page of their LCN paper that they are the presenter of the paper.
  2. Provide a short biography (of no more than 5 lines) in their personal EDAS profile for the session chair to do the introduction. Authors can enter or update their EDAS profile by clicking on the "My Profile" tab locating on the top of the EDAS page.

Instructions for Preparing Posters for Short Papers

For several years, the LCN conference has successfully offered a track of short papers. Short papers are presented in poster style. The conference program will offer a dedicated poster session in the afternoon of the first main conference day, Tuesday October 12th. Each year, the poster session offers the authors and the audience the opportunity to engage in direct and vivid discussions. The session is typically followed by the main conference social event. (Here are some lively pictures from the LCN 2007 poster session in Dublin and LCN 2008 poster session in Montreal.)

Poster presenters will be provided with a mounting board which is 4 feet (121 cm) wide and 8 feet (243 cm) tall for their poster presentation.
