Corporate Conference Support Levels

The Local Computer Networks conference offers several opportunities for corporate support. LCN will provide to the corporation, along with our deep appreciation, various benefits:

  • Platinum: US$10K
  • Gold: US$5K
  • Silver: US$2K
  • Bronze: US$1K

Bronze support level (US$1,000)

  • Logo on the LCN front web page, which is the main source of logistical and advance agenda information for LCN attendees.
  • Company name on the Call for Papers. This text-based CfP is emailed to about 1000 people and appears in international IEEE magazines and local publications. An HTML and PDF version are available on the LCN's home page.
  • Company name on the Advance Program notification. The Advance Program is emailed to about 1000 people. HTML and PDF versions are available on the LCN's home page.
  • Logo on the title page of the conference proceedings. Proceedings are provided to all conference attendees.
  • Explicit "thank you" in the welcome address at the conference and in the General Chair's Message printed in the front of the proceedings.

For companies interested in a higher level of support in exchange for more visibility, we offer the opportunity to sponsor specific events and activities. Sponsors at the Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels will receive the same visibility as the bronze sponsors plus they will be thanked in connection with the specific event or resources. The logos for Gold and Platinum sponsors will be placed on a first and second priority to reflect their relative contributions.

Silver support level (US$2,000)

  • Named sponsorship of one of the breaks.
  • Opportunities to display brochures or leaflets on a table in the conference lobby. The sponsor is responsible for sending or bringing the brochures with them to the conference. The table is shared and each sponsor can use up to four 8x11 inch spaces.
  • One complementary registration for the conference.

Gold support level (US$5,000)

  • Opening reception at the conference hotel: LCN opens with a reception the evening of the Workshops, before the start of the main technical program.
  • A conference lunch: Lunches are sit-down service in a hotel banquet room.
  • Work-in-progress poster session: During this session, attendees present their work in poster form. This event provides a venue for early research to get feedback and visibility.
  • Support for the terminal room, Internet connectivity, wireless access, etc., including "in kind" support.
  • There are several different options for student travel and registration grants.

    AND

  • Opportunities to display brochures or leaflets on a table in the conference lobby. The sponsor is responsible for sending or bringing the brochures with them to the conference. The table is shared and each sponsor can use up to four 8x11 inch spaces.
  • Two complementary registrations for the conference.

Platinum support level (US$10,000)

The corporate supporter sponsors a specific high profile conference event or activity such as:

  • The conference banquet. This banquet is the marquis event of the conference, and is usually held in a location of high local interest for the venue.
  • Opportunities to display brochures or leaflets on a private table in the conference lobby. The sponsor is responsible for sending or bringing the brochures with them to the conference.
  • Three complementary registrations for the conference.

Note that only a timely decision on the support of LCN will ensure that the above described publication steps of company names and logos and other means will be completed in time. E.g., a commercial Call for Paper advertisement in a journal will be placed around February. A later financial support will make this means of publication obsolete.
