Visa Information


While citizens of many countries world-wide usually do not require a visa to enter the United States, citizens of some countries do. If and only if you are an author of an accepted LCN conference paper and you need a letter of invitation for visa purposes, please send e-mail to the LCN 2023 Local Arrangements Chair(s) with the subject line "LCN 2023 Request for a Letter of Invitation" and all of the following information in the body of the email:

  1. Full name (both given and family names)
  2. Date of birth
  3. Place of birth
  4. Nationality
  5. Affiliation
  6. Full postal address of this affiliation
  7. E-mail address
  8. EDAS paper number
  9. Paper title

You can, optionally, also include your planned itinerary for the trip. Including this may speed-up the visa approval process.

Please note that you need to complete the author registration for LCN 2023 before you can request a letter of invitation. Also, please remember to send the registration confirmation email for verification purposes.
