The 43rd IEEE Conference on Local Computer Networks (LCN), October 1-4, 2018, Chicago, USA

Student Job Fair

Student Job Fair

We are thrilled to announce the inaugural Student Job Fair at LCN 2018.

The job fair is intended to connect job seeking graduate students with companies and universities offering internship, post-doc and full time positions in relevant fields.

The fair is a half-day event co-located with LCN and will take place on Monday, October 1 in the afternoon.

A list of participating universities and corporations will be posted closer to the event.

FOR JOB SEEKERS

The LCN job fair provides an opportunity for students seeking employment to talk to representatives from companies and universities in a casual setting. Job seekers can learn about potential employers and may drop off their resumes. Employment opportunities with companies and universities represented at the job fair will range from internship and post-doc positions to full-time employment.

Conference registration includes a free pass to attend the event.

For local students not attending LCN but interested in the job fair: you can participate, too. Details for registering for the Job Fair only will be posted shortly.

FOR EMPLOYERS

The LCN job fair provides an opportunity for universities and corporations to reach out to some of the brightest minds in the field. Send your technical representatives to staff your own booth at our fair with a chance to talk to the over 100 graduate students that are expected to attend the conference. Additional attendance from undergraduate and graduate students from Chicago area universities is anticipated.

Reach out to us about getting a booth at this year's LCN Job Fair to display and hand out information about your organizations and relevant job opportunities. Booths are $500 and are included in some of our Corporate Conference Level support packages.

Please contact our Corporate Relations Chair Suleyman Uludag and Local Arrangement Chair Katrin Reitsma for inquiries.
