Conference Registration

Conference registration fees include:

• CD copy of the LCN Proceedings (Main conference and all workshops)
• Admission to all workshops
• Admission to all LCN keynote and technical sessions
• Coffee breaks on October 21-24
• The conference dinner on Tuesday, October 22
• Buffet lunches Monday-Wednesday, October 21-23

All workshop and main conference authors must register for the conference by July 30, 2013.

All demo presenters must register for the conference by September 21, 2013 (unless they are also paper authors).

Registration on or before September 21, 2013, will be granted the lower pre-registration rates; registration after September 21, 2013, will be at the higher late registration rates.

Registration is done via the IEEE online conference registration Web site.

Authors should also review the instructions for author registration.

Registration Fee Schedule

CANCELLATION POLICY: All requests for cancellations must be in writing. No refund will be made after September 21, 2013. There will be a US$300.00 service charge on all refunds.

INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS: One author from each paper (main conference and workshops) will be asked to register by July 30, 2013 (i.e., before the paper goes to the publisher) or the paper will not be included in the program/proceedings. Each registration is good for one paper; each additional paper by the same registrant will require an additional $200 to cover the cost for EDAS and publishing. The maximum number of papers that can be covered with one registration is three.

The IEEE reserves the right to exclude paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference. Please see the No-Show Policy for details.

ATTENDANCE ATTESTATION: If you require an attestation or letter of confirmation for your attendance at LCN 2013 and/or the presentation of your paper(s), please bring a written attendance letter that contains all of your required details to the LCN 2013 registration desk, where your letter will be signed and stamped.

Hotel (Room) Booking/Reservation

The LCN 2013 conference hotel is the Novotel Central Sydney in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Please be aware that group rate are available only until September 20, 2013, and subject to availability.

Hotel Room Rates

These rates are valid from Sunday, 20th October 2013, to Thursday, 24th October 2013.

Any bookings made on this code have a seven day cancellation period, therefore any cancellations made less than seven days prior to arrival date will be charged in full. Please note that any rooms held will be released 30 days prior to the arrival date, or on 20th September, 2013. Any bookings made after the release date will be offered our Best Available Rate, and will be based on availability.

NOTE: It may be possible to get a slightly cheaper rate from the hotel Web site using their "Early Booking" rate. Click on the reservation link to check on rates online. At this time, we cannot obtain the group rate via the online reservation system.
